Faust is a new version of a very old story, a gently interactive twist on the classic tale of the infamous doctor and his deal with the devil.
The world has changed since Dr. Faustus summoned the demon Mephistopheles, but one thing has remained the same: Nothing comes without a cost. Today we have conjured A.I., nuclear power, social media, next-day delivery… and we bargain daily.
Each show is unique, guided by the audience’s choices. Combining elements of Marlowe, Goethe and European folklore, Faust explores the path to damnation or salvation and asks how the old tales can help us navigate our complicated times.
